Updated species group taxa of Phytoecia (Phytoecia) Dejean in Turkey with a new status (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae)

Abstract :

The subspecific status of Phytoecia caerulea (Scopoli, 1772) in Turkey is discussed and reviewed. In accordance with this, Phytoecia baccueti (Brullé, 1832) new status is upgraded from subspecies level to the species level. The presence of Phytoecia caerulea bethseba Reiche & Saulcy, 1858 in Turkey is proved. Thus, the list of Turkish Phytoecia (s.str.) Dejean, 1835 is updated with their type information, range and known provincial distribution in Turkey
