Updated feeding preferences and distribution of Turkish leaf-mining and tortoise beetles (Chrysomelidae: Hispinae and Cassidinae) with data from Düzce and Kayseri provinces (Turkey)

Abstract :

Host plant associations and provincial distribution patterns are given and updated for 58 species representing 2 subfamilies and 9 genera of Turkish leaf-mining and tortoise beetles (Chrysomelidae: Hispinae and Cassidinae). Literature host plant records, if they exist, are given for included taxa. In addition, data from Düzce and Kayseri provinces are presented. Provincial and regional distribution patterns in Turkey, if they exist, are given into a map for each species. A check-list of leaf-mining and tortoise beetle taxa of Turkey is also provided in Appendix.
