Twenty-six new flea beetles for the fauna of Çankırı province in Turkey (Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae: Alticini)
Abstract :We
had the opportunity to study some material of the tribe Alticini
(Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae) collected during the expedition of Çankırı
province in 2013-2015. As a result of this, twenty-six species
to the fauna of Çankırı province in Turkey were determined. All species
are the first record for Çankırı province. 13 species of them as Chaetocnema arenacea (Allard), Chaetocnema
montenegrina Heikertinger, Chaetocnema coyei (Allard), Dibolia
occultans (Koch), Longitarsus luridus (Scopoli), Longitarsus
melanocephalus (DeGeer), Longitarsus pellucidus (Foudras), Podagrica
malvae (Illiger), Psylliodes chalcomera (Illiger), Psylliodes chrysocephala
(Linnaeus), Psylliodes circumdata (Redtenbacher), Psylliodes
hyoscyami (Linnaeus) and Psylliodes tricolor Weise are the first
record for Western Black Sea region of Turkey. Also 6 species of them as Chaetocnema
chlorophana (Duftschmid), Chaetocnema conducta (Motschulsky), Chaetocnema
major (Jacquelin du Val), Longitarsus aeneicollis (Faldermann), Longitarsus
picicollis Weise and Longitarsus fuscoaeneus Redtenbacher are the
new records for Black Sea region of Turkey (incl. Western Black Sea region)
