Some experience and perspective for practical use of arachnids (Scorpiones, Solifugae, Araneae): A brief review
Abstract : This review article examines the significance and key aspects of the practical use of dominant representatives of three well-known orders from the class Arachnida: scorpions (Scorpiones), solpugids (Solifugae), free-living spiders and web-weaver spiders (Araneae). It examines the role of arachnids in ecosystems and some achievements in attempts to create artificial populations of spiders, scorpions, and solpugids. The experience and perspective for their practical use in medical science and practice, biology and agriculture are discussed. The article draws on data from the most authoritative literary sources and some of the author's own research.
