Some additional notes on the genus Ocypus Stephens in Turkey (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Staphylininae)

Abstract :

In this study, 10 species of the genus Ocypus were reported from different parts of Turkey. Many new localities have been found for some specieswhich have already been reported in Turkey. Ocypus curtipennis(Motschulsky, 1849), O. exicus (Müller, 1950) and O. mus (Brullé, 1932) are found the most common and abundant species in this country
