Results of lizard liver analysis by electron paramagnetic resonance (epr) method
Abstract : An experiment was conducted to determine whether the stress factor could cause the generation of free radicals in the liver of lizards, and this experiment was repeated 3 times. the EPR method was determined to be applied for the detection and analysis of intermediate substances of free radicals generated in the reactions taking place in the body. Two main spectral lines are observed in the EPR spectra of stressed Tenuidactylus caspius lizards. The first line is wide with the spectral parameters of g = 2.053 and ∆B = 370 G. The second line locates above the first wide line, appears as a thin peak, and spectroscopic parameters g = 2.0055 and spectrum width ∆B = 6 G are determined. In different species of lizards, the parameters of the first spectral line with a wide width out of the EPR spectra are different. The spectral parameters of this line are the same in individuals of the same species. This feature can be used in species determination.
