Redesription of the poorly known Cyclops mongolensis Einsle, 1992 (Copepoda: Cyclopidae)
Abstract :Females of the poorly known Cyclops mongolensis Einsle, 1992 from the freshwater lake Hövsgöl Nuur in Mongolia are redescribed. Some data on morphology of male are presented. C. mongolensis belongs to the group of congeners with a long aesthetasc on antennule segment XII, which unites C. ladakanus, C. strenuus, C. abyssorum, C. furcifer, C. kolensis, and C. columbianus. Presented data show that C. mongolensis is a true endemic of the lake Hövsgöl.
