Notes on the parasitoid community of Bethylidae and Chalcidoidea (Hymenoptera) reared from Gundelia tournefortii L. (Asterales: Asteraceae) in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey
Abstract :Kenger (Gundelia tournefortii L.) is one of the economical crops of in Turkey. It attacks by different groups of pests. Various species of the superfamily Chalcidoidea (Hymenoptera) are parasitoids on different stages of these pests. A study was conducted in Kahramanmaraş, province during 2021-2022. In Turkey a total of 8 parasitic wasps were collected and identified that include ones: Israelius carthami Richards, 1952 Bethylidae: Scleroderminae), new record for Turkey; Chalcidoidea: Torymidae: Thaumatorymus notanisoides Ferriere & Novicky, 1954. New record for Turkey; Idiomacromerus gundelae Doğanlar & Laz, 2022; Pseuderimerus mehmetkanatii Doğanlar & Laz, 2022; Pseuderimerus gundeliacus Doğanlar & Laz, 2022; Eurytomidae: Sycophila kengerus Doğanlar & Laz, 2022; Eupelmidae: Eupelmus microzonus Förster, 1860; a new species, Eupelmus turkoglunensis sp. nov. was described.
