Notes on Oriental Galerucinae Latreille, 1802 with description of a new species of the genus Palpoxena Baly, 1861 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)

Abstract :

The paper contains new faunistic information and taxonomic notesregarding several Galerucinae species from the Oriental Region, namely Altica aenea (Olivier, 1808), Chaloenus apicicornis (Jacoby, 1884A), and Mimastra jelinekiBezděk, 2009. Updated maps of these species distribution in the Oriental Regions are represented. Also, Palpoxena shayakhmetovai, a new species of chrysomelid beetle of the subfamily Galerucinae, is described from Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia
