Jewel beetles (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) from Azerbaijan in the collection of the National Museum of Georgia
Abstract : This paper provides a list of jewel beetle species (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) from Azerbaijan preserved in the entomological collection of the National Museum of Georgia. The list comprises 79 species, belonging to 20 genera and 5 subfamilies, and is compiled in accordance with current taxonomy. For each specimen, collection localities, dates, and collectors’ names are included. The material was gathered in the first decade of the 20th century from different regions of Azerbaijan by staff of the museum at that time.
