Description of a new species Praetextatus Distant (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae: Caystrine) from India

Abstract : A new species, Praetextatus indicus sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Uttarakhand state (Western Himalaya) of India. The new species differ from both the know species by its larger size. A key to species of the genus is also provided.
