Contributions to the insect fauna of Diyarbakir province, Turkey: Cicadellidae (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha)

Abstract :

This study was conducted in Diyarbakır (Sur district) province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region in 2015. Robinson type light trap was used to collect the insects. As a result of the study, 18 species belonging to the Cicadellidae (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) family were determined. 5 of these species are the first record for Diyarbakır insect fauna. New record species are: Anaceratagallia ribauti (Ossiannilsson, 1938), Anaceratagallia venosa (Fourcroy, 1785), Neoaliturus opacipennis (Lethierry, 1876), Euscelis lineolatus Brullé, 1832), and Mogangella straminea Dlabola, 1957.
