Another indicator of the richness of Turkey's biodiversity-II: An updated list of species-group taxa of longhorned beetles originally described from Turkey (Coleoptera: Cerambycoidea)
Abstract : The paper presents an updated list of all species-group taxa of longhorned beetles originally described from Turkey with their type localities. As a result of this, a total of 643 species-group taxa (426 species and 217 non nominal subspecies) belonging to 88 subgenera and 81 genera of 40 tribes in 12 subfamilies of 2 families are determined and presented. Accordingly, ratio of species-group taxa originally described from Turkey to total Cerambycoidea species-group taxa of Turkey (1071 taxa) is determined high and about 60 percent (60.04%).
