A taxonomic evaluation on the genus Mecas LeConte with a new subgenus (Cerambycidae: Lamiinae)

Abstract : The paper presents a taxonomic evaluation on subgeneric arrangement of the genus Mecas LeConte. Accordingly, Mecas (Callusocollis) subgen. nov. is proposed, described and presented with some species that were previously placed to the genus, Mecas LeConte.
