A lentil plant feeder weevil Mesagroicus depresipennis Pic, 1897 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Entiminae) from Southeast Anatolia

Abstract :

Adult samples of Mesagroicus depresipennis Pic, 1897 were collected on Lens esculenta L. (Fabaceae) in Southeast Anatolia. It is the first food plant record for the species. A supplementary morphological data is prepared, habitus, terminalia segments of abdomen and genital structures are digitally illustrated for the first time. With this finding, occurrence of M. depresipennis in Turkey is confirmed.
