A contribution to the knowledge of Cerambycidae and Chrysomelidae in Turkey (Coleoptera: Cerambycoidea and Chrysomeloidea)
Abstract :Ten species group taxa of Cerambycidae and twenty species group taxa of Chrysomelidae collected from Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Mardin and Şanlıurfa provinces in Turkey are evaluated faunistically with this paper. Among Cerambycidae, three taxa as Cerambyx carinatus (Küster, 1845), Plagionotus arcuatus tastani Özdikmen et al., 2017 and Chlorophorus damascenus (Chevrolat, 1854) are the first record to South-Eastern Anatolian region of Turkey and six taxa are the first record to Diyarbakır province. Among Chrysomelidae, on the other side, two taxa as Smaragdina chloris chloris (Lacordaire, 1848) and Cassida denticollis Suffrian, 1844 are the second record for Turkey. In addition, seven taxa as Clytra atraphaxidis atraphaxidis (Pallas, 1773), Smaragdina chloris chloris (Lacordaire, 1848), Cryptocephalus fulvus schatzmayri Burlini, 1969, Chrysolina herbacea alacris Bechyné, 1950, Galeruca spectabilis orientalis (Osculati, 1844), Altica lythri Aubé, 1843 and Altica palustris (Weise, 1888) are the first record to South-Eastern Anatolian region of Turkey while three taxa as Smaragdina scutellaris (Lefèvre, 1872), Cassida denticollis Suffrian, 1844 and Cassida margaritacea Schaller, 1783 are the first record to Eastern Anatolian region of Turkey. Moreover, eight taxa for Diyarbakır province, three taxa for Elazığ province, two taxa for Şanlıurfa province and one taxa for Mardin province are the first records.
