A contribution to the fauna of Turkish Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera: Chrysomeloidea)

Abstract :

In this study, material belonging to five subfamilies of Chrysomelidae housed in the collection of Lodos Entomological Museum (LEMT) (İzmir, Turkey) have been evaluated. A total of 37 species (40 species-group taxa: 27 species + 13 subspecies) belonging to 12 genera have been presented. Additional new regional and provincial records for almost all species with an exception of 6 species have been given. New records for 56 of 81 provinces in Turkey and 5 of 7 regions of Turkey are also presented into a list in the appendix.
