A contribution to the Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) fauna of Turkey from Kayseri province

Abstract :

This paper provides information about the Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) species collected from Kayseri province (Turkey) in 2018 and 2019. As a result of this study, a total of 18 species and 12 subspecies of 15 genera in Cerambycidae have been recorded. Among them, 16 species and 10 subspecies are the first record to Kayseri province. Cortodera flavimana torosensis Danilevsky, 2015, Purpuricenus interscapillatus interscapillatus Plavilstshikov, 1937, Clytus (Clytus) ciliciensis (Chevrolat, 1863) and Theophilea cylindricollis Pic, 1895 are also recorded for the first time for Central Anatolian region of Turkey. Moreover, Vadonia vartanisi Danilevsky, 2014 is recorded for the second time from Turkey after original description.
