A checklist of prominent moths (Notodontidae: Noctuoidea) with a new distributional record from the North-Western Himalayas-Kashmir, (J&K Ut), India
Abstract :In this study, a new distributional record of Micromelalopha undulata (Notodontidae: Pygaerinae) is reported from the Kashmir valley, India. At present, there is no report or taxonomic description of this species that has come straight from this region. The specimen has been properly mounted, which, in addition to the taxonomic account, will make it much simpler in the future to identify the species in any investigations that may follow this one. In addition, this article contains a list of species from the Notodontidae family reported so far from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory across seven different genera, as well as information on their distribution.
